南华山山门采用具有极高经济价值和文化价值的楠木为原料，整体格局依湘楚文化、据古法营造而成，技术高超、艺术精湛、风格独特。

Use wool of great economic and cultural value as material of door of Mt.Nanhua, we set the whole pattern according to culture of Hunan and Hubei, and construct it according to old methods. It’s of high technology, great arts and unique style. 

凤凰籍著名艺术大师黄永玉先生亲笔撰写了山门楹联：

Mr.Huang Yongyu, the famous great art master born in Fenghuangcheng wrote brands of mountain door by himself:

“久慕名山，提酒携琴，何妨登临选胜”，“相濡以沫，泥涂曳尾，不若相忘江湖”。 

“No matter what famous places of interest, Mt.Nanhua is the best with great reputation”, “When tourists travel in this place, they can get inner peace in the harmonious surroundings.” 

大师心声不仅亦文亦谐，品格高远，更抒发了一种无所束缚、心法自然的人生意境。

The master Huang not only has a kind heart, elegant character, but also expresses a kind of living condition, that is carefree and peaceful.  

南华山国家森林公园景区从徽标设计到景区景点的规划、设计、建设和展示的五十多幅书法作品，均由黄永玉大师全程指导，手绘蓝图，亲书题写，可以说，这是黄永玉大师在他的故乡大地上描绘的一幅传世艺术巨著。

Ranging from emblem design of National Forest Park in Mt.Nanhua to the plan, design and construction of scenic spots to more than fifty calligraphy works all are instructed by Master Huang Yongyu. He painted blueprints all by hands and wrote by himself. It can be said that it is a great art work of legend by the master Huang on his country land.
