凤凰自古辨雄雌，凤为雄，凰为雌。

Ever since old days, phoenix can distinguish male and female. Phoenix is male and female phoenix is of course female.

亭前一双梧桐之间，立石碑刻曲辞：“凤兮凤兮归故乡，凰兮凰兮从我栖”，出自陈朝徐陵编《玉台新咏》之《凤求凰》。

Between two phoenix trees is a stone inscription that says “When Phoenix will come back hometown in a day”. The sentence is from love of phoenixes by Xu Ling in Chen Dynasty.

双亭相携而合，飞檐斗拱，精雕细琢。

Two pavilions symbolizes that love will be forever.

亭尖伫立凤凰，两两相望，情深意切；

Two phoenixes stand on the top of pavilions, they look into their eyes and have deep affection.

亭心镶嵌铜铸，一凤一凰，呼应亭尖；

In the center of pavilion is a couple of phoenix made of copper. A male phoenix and a female phoenix act in cooperation on the top of the pavilion.

亭外梧桐连理，相合相生，不离不弃。

Out of pavilions, the phoenix tree’s branches interlock and never abandon each other.

与凤结缘，超凡脱俗、旨趣高尚、知音默契。象征人间亲情、友情、爱情等丰富的意蕴。

Form ties with phoenix, transcendental and free from vulgarity noble and get on well with each other. It symbolizes family love, friendship, love and so on.
