凤凰台上凤凰游，此处为俯览凤凰古城胜景至妙之所。边城石街、玉氏山房、沱江跳岩、跨江虹桥、万名塔等特色景点尽收眼底，“一座青山抱古城，一江沱水绕城过”的风光在这里如诗如画。

There is an old saying which goes like that phoenix travels around Phoenix Tower. This place is amazing for us to overlook the ancient Fenghuangcheng. Stone street of Border town, Hill House of Yu, Cliff of Tuo River, rainbow-shaped bridge, Wanming Tower and so on all come into our eyes. Sight which is just as the poet wrote, “Green mountain embraces an old city and water flows around the city.”

凤凰台前的石碑上刻着文学巨匠沈从文先生题写的“天开图画，人出凤凰”，再一次述说了凤凰古城是一处物华天宝、人杰地灵的风水宝地。

Stone tablet in front of Phoenix Tower is caved with the sentence by Sheng Congwen, “Talents come from Phoenix which boosts beautiful scenic spots.” It describes the ancient Fenghuangcheng as a good place of prosperous products and talented people.
