凤凰六句阵，由高低错致的六根楠木柱依山势而成，其上分别镌刻着凤凰民间流传甚久的风水词：

Six pillars of different heights caved with Fen Shui Words which have passed on in Fenghuangcheng relatively.

“双龙来治水，五马来朝阳。凤凰会百鸟，金盆摆中央。谁能拥得此地在，又出将军又出王”。

“The princes and marquises all come from the ancient Fenghuangcheng full of magical power.”

此六句词出自明朝一位云游天下的风水先生，依凤凰天象地理之格局，悟凤凰风水宝地之玄机，作凤凰古城人杰地灵之论断。如今细品，确为真言。近代以来就有民国内阁总理熊希龄、文学巨匠沈从文、艺术大师黄永玉等不同时期的各界名人出自凤凰古城。

These six sentences come from a Fen Shui man in Ming Dynasty. Sentences are based on the pattern of Phoenix geology, the truth of Fen Shui of that place and sayings that the ancient Fenghuangcheng is a place of great people and magical power. Nowadays, when we study them, we find that they are true words. In the modern society, famous people from different periods such as Premier Xiong Xiling, Culture Master Sheng Congwen, Art Master Huang Yongyu are all from the ancient Fenghuangcheng.
